Teacher and Leadership Certification


The reasons for this training can be encompassed in two words:

This advanced course is a requirement for persons called to leadership, teaching or the proclamation of God’s word. This training provides intensive instruction in theology, teaching, biblical interpretation and leadership.  Students must attend all classes.  Required Book: Christian Beliefs: Twenty Basics Every Christian Should Know by Wayne A. Grudem.

To be considered for this course, prospective students must do the following:
  1. Complete the PROSPECTIVE STUDENT ONLINE FORM.  No paper forms will be accepted.  Your form will be forwarded to the appropriate Friendship-West Staff Leadership for consideration and approval.  Students will not be added to the class until proper approval is received.
  2. Register for the class at the Friendship-West Church Campus during Registration Dates or CLICK HERE to register online.

PROSPECTIVE STUDENT ONLINE FORM
By completing the form, prospective students understand that entrance into the certification training requires that they be a member in good standing at Friendship-West Baptist Church.  A member in good standing consists of being: 1) a faithful tither, giving at least 10% of my gross income and 2) a regular attendee of Bible study/HTBI and 3) involved in ministry.  Non-Members must also complete the form below and also require Friendship-West Staff Leadership consideration and approval in order to participate.
